Help us continue serving child abuse victims in Pueblo and Southern Colorado. We won’t stop until abuse stops.
In late March, the governor’s office placed restrictions on all non-essential places of business. At every level, we knew sheltering in place was the healthiest option for most of the public, but we knew it was not the safest option for some children. Many children suffered at home when their caregivers were under extreme stress, and they were outside the view of watchful eyes and ears at school, at church, and other places where people are trained to identify signs of abuse.
Since March of this year, child abuse reports, especially cases of severe abuse, are up more than 35%. We’ve conducted more forensic interviews and coordinated more investigations of child fatalities and child injuries than at any time in our history.
Now, we need help making the ends meet.
Please, help us continue serving child abuse victims in Pueblo and Southern Colorado. Your donation will immediately aid our community's most vulnerable population.
