The PCAC was the first Child Advocacy Center in the State of Colorado and one of the six original Child Advocacy Centers in the United States. We are fully accredited with the National Children's Alliance and are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

We serve Pueblo, Crowley, Otero, Bent, Las Animas, Huerfano, Baca, Prowers, Kiowa, Chaffee, Park, and Custer counties, an area as large or larger than most Eastern states.

What to expect when you visit us:

When you arrive at the PCAC, you'll be met by a staff member and welcomed into a homelike living room and kitchen. The child and his/her family are introduced to the professionals that will assist them. The professionals may include a social worker, a police officer or sheriff's deputy, and a medical professional if a medical examination is required.
